Obama sides with Mexican president against Americans

President Barack Obama and Mexico's President Felipe Calderon yesterday blasted Arizona's new immigration enforcement law, with Calderon telling reporters that the law is discriminatory while Obama spoke about the need for immigration reform. Critics call the term "immigration reform" a euphemism for amnesty for millions of lawbreakers.

Obama appeared to side with the visiting Mexican president against U.S. citizens in addressing the law. The President said, "[A] fair reading of Arizona law reveals the possibility of illegal harassment."

"I am supportive of a comprehensive immigration reform," Obama said. "[The]reforms should not happen unilaterally, but working with the Mexican government."

Arizona's new immigration law is a "misdirected expression of frustration," said Obama, while Calderon called it "discriminatory."

At a joint press conference with Calderon, Obama told journalists that illegal immigration is down and not up during his and Calderon's administrations, adding that they "agreed to continue working aggressively."

However, President Obama failed to divulge how he and his administration know illegal aliens entering the U.S. has declined.

Obama reiterated his position of giving an opportunity to illegals already in the United States saying, "Illegal [aliens] should have a way if they're following the law to become legal."

"Either President Obama thinks Americans are dumb or he's ignorant of the fact that illegal aliens are not 'following' the law. That's why their illegal," said former NYPD detective and military intelligence officer Mike Snopes.

On the border debate, Obama reaffirmed a commitment to border security, noting that, "over 80 percent of trade passes over our land border," and stressed that "our shared border must be an engine and not a brake on our trade."

During the press conference with Obama and Calderon, the President once again blamed Americans for drug war, saying that it's not just a problem in Mexico and that U.S. demand for drugs helps to drive Mexico's drug trafficking.

Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and other lawyers and politicians in the White House responded and: * Admitted they have not read the 10 page Arizona Immigration Law * Threatened to sue the State of Arizona * Race pandered for Hispanic Votes These lawyers do not seem to understand the definition of Probable Cause. It is defined as: Reasonable cause; having more evidence for than against; a reasonable belief that a crime has or is being committed and is the basis for all lawful searches and arrests.

For example, a police officer may claim there is probable cause for attempted theft when someone is found trespassing on private property late at night wearing a stocking mask, in order to justify stopping and searching the person for possession of criminal tools, and requesting to see identification. State Rep. Russell Pearce of Mesa, AZ, stated, "Illegal is illegal. We'll have less crime. We'll have lower taxes. We'll have safer neighborhoods. We'll have shorter lines in the emergency rooms. We'll have smaller classrooms."

Arizona spends $3 billion a year to educate, medicate and incarcerate illegal aliens. But, as has happened with every other State facing this invasion, the federal government has done nothing to stop the flow of illegals from the south.

Of course, the response from Barack Obama and his liberal partners in Congress was exactly as expected: cries of "racism" and "profiling," instead of listening to the voices of the American people demanding they enforce the laws that are already on the books. In fact, numerous polls show a HUGE majority of public support for this new law, and many polls conducted over the last few years show that 81% of Americans believe that "local and state police should help federal authorities enforce laws against illegal immigration."

But despite all of this, supporters of illegal immigration are trying to reverse Arizona's law, stop Congress from enforcing existing laws, and prevent any other State from passing a law like Arizona's. "It's already started: supporters of illegal immigration are now busing protesters into the Arizona capitol from as far away as Los Angeles. They have surrounded the capitol building, demanding their 'rights' -- meaning, their 'rights' to break the law by coming to this country illegally," said Alan M. Gottlieb
